The Self-Study Option website is a totally free resource which describes how to study for and pass the California Bar Exam without a bar review course. Each topic tested on the CBX is examined, and recommendations are made with regard to study material. Also the site discusses the importance of the MBE topics, the lesser importance of the California-specific topics, and how to approach the Performance Test.

I graduated from a California law school in May 2006 and then failed the July 2006 CA Bar Exam. This blog was originally created as a chronicle of my bar experience, in the hopes of aiding others and amusing myself. It is now a therapeutic outlet for my pain and struggles as I prepare for the February 2007 exam. I still maintain that it will probably not be of interest to anyone but me. =)
