Is one month enough to prepare for the upcoming exam? I am registered to take in july. I have not started any preparation and will not be working for the entire month. Should I not even put any effort into it and wait until next year?

Why wait? i havent taken it yet.. will do so next year.. but... you loose nothing on trying (other than the fee)... also if for any reason you fail, y get a good grasp of what the test is about...

Step up to the plate and swing the bat.  You may hit a home run.  If you don't, you will be ahead of the game in your preparation for next time, and, you will have experience in taking the exam.  You will probably pass.

I think very possible depending upon the state and whether you need to take the MBE portion.  Good luck!

What state are you referring to? If you are talking about the California
bar, I guess it's doable; however, you have less than 30 days to prepare.
If you haven't even looked at the material and haven't taken any MBE
questions, it would be very difficult. With that said, anything's
possible. I just don't see how you can review all the law and write enough
practice exams and take enough MBE's within this time frame.

Has anyone out there been successful or know of anyone who has that is in
this guy's boat?

I would definitely take the exam.  I was very ill and unable to study in Feb for more than about 3 weeks.  I took the bar anyway (DC - 44% pass rate) and ended up passing the written portion and now only have to retake the MBE.  I also only failed the MBE by 10 points.  So you never know. 

Take the bar exam, even if it's in CA.

I had a buddy who studdied for about 1 hours a day for 6 weeks, and 4 hours a day for 2 weeks, and passed. These hours were outside of BarBri lectures.

The key is to memorize all the law within the final 2 weeks. Short-term memory.

I would take the next 2 weeks to read all the Conviser subjects, find some outlines on here and review those, and do about 200 MBE questions. Over the next 2 weeks, I would write an essay a day and review the outlines, and write a PT on the Sunday before the exam.

This is not going to guarantee passing, but should prepare you as well as could be given the time constraints.

And the guy I mentioned above was a genius. Went to Harvard Law, graduated in the top 10% of his class, etc. Fucking brilliant.

I'm takig the MA bar and just started studying full time. I feel the same concers wheather 1 month is enough. I find that I get stuck thinking too much about it and I should should just spend that time studying and not worrying. I guess it's natural, but with lots of effort in the next 25 days, perhaps it is possible to pass, I hope. Any tips on the MA Bar with the reamaining time left to study?

take it, even if CA. The least you will get is some priceless experience of going through an actual 3-exam, the real deal...no class will give you that.
