Has anyone successfully appealed or heard of anyone that has successfully appealed their Arizona bar exam results?

I appealed my July exam and received my letter today --- petition denied.

Curious to hear if there's been any success with appealing in AZ, or if I really just wasted my time preparing my appeal for a Committee that probably didn't even review it.

I needed one point and I too got my petition denied without an explanation. When I was talking to bar attorneys they all said az is a hard state. One person said he was 2/6 but he had not done an appeal in years.

ya, I wish I could share a success story, but everyone I know that appealed their results in AZ were unsuccessful.

Sorry that you failed by such a slim margin, I feel like they should just round that shit up.

I failed by 6 points... is an appeal worth a shot?

Most people appeal because they fail by one point. But unless there is a mechanical problem in grading mbe, the essay grading is hardly changed.

Arizona is a police state. Very un-cool place. You guys are probably cool but I am not surprised by your State Bar's policy. 1 point = pricks. I guess they don't have automatic re-read? John McCain, tea baggers, and all that jazz.

Then again, they did adopt the UBE which is cool.
