Is it more proper to wear a skirt or pant suit when getting sworn in? ALso, any other key advice about when it happens. I'm going to Austin to get sworn in for Texas, so if anyone has done it before what kinds of things should I know about ahead of time? Thanks!

Wear your birthday suit with a girdle, and bring a push-up bra just in case.

I am wearing a skirt suit to my swearing-in ceremony this Tuesday. Personally, I feel more feminine in a skirt suit.  Although, wear whatever makes you comfortable as long as it is conservative in color(navy, black, or gray) and style (not too trendy).

I'm wearing jeans, flip-flops and a tie-die shirt to mine. I am trying to achieve that retro, hippy look.

agree with purplerain.....although I'm not there yet (taking bar in July), you can never go wrong with a skirt/jacket outfit in a conservative color.  You'll be glad you did.

I'm going to streak and run butt-naked down the hallways yelling "Kony 2012!" right before my swearing in.

Brings back those good old memories from my undergrad and law school years.

Technically, being sworn in is the very first day you will appear in court as an attorney. So, I would suggest wearing a suit. Skirt or pant suit is fine. Wear what you prefer.

Here I am!  Was away over the weekend...can't wait to pass and its only two more days before that time comes. So, you folks are still out there obsessed with me, my cock, and everything else about me I see. Eat your hearts out especially when you're up against me in the courtroom, you're going "down" (pun intended).

Give me your names first so I can see who you are. Show me yours and I'll show you mine. For all I know you might be some crazed stalker or someone hell bent on an intent to impersonate me, steal my name,  and use my near perfect score to take out a second mortgage on that piece of shit of a house that you live in that you can't afford to pay. Not going to let you steal my identity and fuck up my FICO.

Get lost. Leave your names first (real ones) if you want to know mine. 1, 2, 3  GO...

Swearing in us often done in campus in the mocktrial room or an auditorium but legally is considered a special session of court. The judge will stress that before performing the ceremony. Wear what you would wear to court. When in doubt watch cspan or YouTube a court session. Mimic what you see them wear.
