July 2013 Michigan Bar Examination Results
The results of the July 2013 bar examination were released to applicants on Thursday, October 24, 2013. The results were mailed by United States Postal Service to the address registered with the Board of Law Examiners. If you have moved and have not advised the Board office of your new address information, mail this information immediately. Address changes will NOT be taken by telephone, email or fax. Applicants who do not have character and fitness clearance or who have not passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) will receive unofficial results only. Applicants who have not been certified as having graduated from law school will not receive any results until that certification is received by the Board of Law Examiners.
DO NOT call the Board of Law Examiners or the State Bar of Michigan for results information. Results will not be released over the telephone.
Unsuccessful applicants should refer to their results letter for applicable forms, fees and deadlines for the February 2014 bar examination. Unsuccessful applicants who do not have character and fitness clearance or who have not passed the MPRE are not eligible to retake the examination until clearance and a passing MPRE score are received. Those applicants will not receive reexamination forms until eligibility is established.
You must wait ten business days for the delivery of your results. If by that time you have not received your results, you must submit a written request to the Board of Law Examiners to receive a duplicate result packet. Your request must include the following:
— a statement that you did not receive your original result packet,
— a statement promising to return your original result packet if received,
— your full name and current address.
The names of certified passers will be posted on this web site on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 after 12:00 p.m. Applicants will be listed by name only.
