Are times tough for newly admitted attorneys trying to get a job?
I passed the bar 2-3 years ago and have been working as a Senior Contract management role where the company just let me run my own legal department and make around $105K with full benefits. There are no attorneys that work within my company, but I still haven't been promoted to one.
I feel like I am not getting a use of my license. Should I go and work at a firm? I know if a law firm that I used to be a paralegal for and she is an experienced attorney who has told me I can come work for her, but need to bring in my own clients and she wont pay me a salary.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
