I have heard that a PhD is most advantageous for getting published or teaching, where JD is a more practical doctorate. Good question.

There is a full blown pyscho at cooley who drives in from Canada and is licensed (in Canada) as a doctor but isn't a lawyer anywhere. Her speaches are about 99% pro socialism while screaming. If you see her, kick her in the shins and run. You have been warned.

That’s just not right. I thought it was weird that a 2 year licensed attorney was teaching at our law school. How can you know enough of the real world after only two years? I have been practicing for two years and I am still learning everyday.

Cooley is known to take shortcuts so that is not surprising.

What school is the 2 year person at? I take it a different school?
